These terms of condition govern the use of www.puddlebyart.com.au (“the website”) and the purchase of any goods from it or from Puddleby Art. By accessing and using the website you are agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions, including information provided under the links Shipping, Returns and Privacy. The website is owned and operated by Puddleby Art (ABN 91 750 480 651).

Product Appearance

Many of Puddleby Art`s products are hand made in Japan or use materials that vary with each piece so that each item is unique. Due to the nature of these products, the photos you see on the website may be slightly different in colour from the product you receive. In addition, the exact appearance of each product on screen will depend on your computer monitor’s display and colour settings. Please read product descriptions carefully. If a product is manufactured using various materials and will differ from the photograph, it will be detailed in the product description. We do not accept a difference in colour or pattern from that shown on the website as a fault. We will treat any items returned for this reason as change of mind.

Product Availability

Availability of the products listed on the website is subject to change without notice. Display of an item on the website is not a guarantee that the item is currently in stock and available to be shipped with your order. Any out of stock item(s) will not be shipped with your order and the revised total will be shown on your final invoice enclosed with your delivery. If there are a large number of items out of stock, or we feel the missing items will affect your overall order adversely, we will contact you prior to shipping to advise you or to offer an alternative. If you would like us to definitely contact you about any out of stock items, please note your request in the comments section at the end of your order.

Prices are subject to change without notice. All prices are in Australian dollars.

Payment & Accounts

Payment may be made by direct deposit to our bank account, by credit card (MasterCard or VISA), PayPal, or by cheque. See website checkout or for payment instructions. Goods will be dispatched once payment has been received in full.

Privacy Statement

We respect your privacy as your privacy is important to us.
We only collect minimal personal information needed to process and deliver your order and keep you informed of sales, new products and events( Note : you may choose not to receive these types of notifications).
We generally hold personal information relating to your contact and delivery details and the products you have purchased from us.
Any and all the information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned.
Any information you provide will be held with the utmost care and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.

Returns

In the unlikely event of a claim, only written claims will be accepted and must be made within 14 days of receiving products. Claims or returns will only be accepted where there is a fault in the product supplied.
Note: before returning goods for any reason, please contact Puddleby Art to receive an authorization for return and instructions on how to return the goods.

In the case of faulty or damaged goods. We may only require a photo of the fault or damage to be emailed to us and you will not need to return the actual goods.
If we ask you to return goods YOU MUST send them by a traceable method such as courier or registered post. If the goods are not received by us and no proof of delivery is available, we will deem them not to have been sent.

You may choose;

1) A full refund of the purchase price including delivery charges to be made to you by the same method that you used to pay for the goods. If we ask you to return the goods, we will also reimburse you for any postage costs incurred.
2) A credit for the same amount to be used towards your next purchase from Puddleby Art.
3) Replacement goods

Please contact us first to discuss your decision to return the goods. We will not accept returns without prior authorisation.

Goods must be returned in the original condition that they were sent to you. They must be undamaged, unused and in their original packaging. They must have no price tags or other labels attached.
If you return goods you must send them by a traceable method such as courier or registered post. If the goods are not received by us and no proof of delivery is avalable, we will deem them not to have been sent.

It is your resonsibility to ensure the goods are adequately packaged so that they are not damaged during return transit.

You may choose;

1) A refund of the purchase price( excluding postage ) by the same method that you used to pay for the goods.
2) A credit note for the same amount to be used towards your next Puddleby Art purchase.
3) Exchange for another item(s) of the same cost. In this case, you will charged the cost of posting the new item(s) to you.

Shipping

We may use Australia Post registered post, or Star Track Express Couriers to deliver your order. For care and service we prefer to use Australia Post registered post. In this case YOU MUST provide a delivery address where someone will be avilable to sign for receipt of goods during business hours( e.g. work address.).
You may also give us instructions to leave the parcel in a safe place( verandah, back step etc.). If you give instructions to leave the parcel, we do not accept responsibility for it being stolen or lost after delivery. If no-one is available to sign at the time of delivery, you may be charged a re-delivery fee. If you cannot provide an address where someone will definitely be available to sign for delivery, we will use Australia Post registered post. In this case, if no-one is available to sign for the delivery, a card will be left and you will need to to visit your local Australia Post Office to pick up the parcel yourself.
